CPR and Defibrillator training

The training course follows the American Heart Association and Irish Heart Foundation Heartsaver AED programme and includes:

· Introduction
· Adult CPR
· Child CPR
· Use of a barrier device for adult and child
· Contacting the emergency services
· Use of a defibrillator
· Adult and child choking
· Infant choking
· Infant CPR

Each student receives an American Heart Association Heartsaver AED student workbook, a CD-Rom and wallet cards, a pocket mask and also some proprietary documentation which they can retain and refer to in the future.
