Fire Extinguisher Service & Instalation
Apex Fire Technicians are FIAI & BAFE Registered. In accordance with IS 291: 2002 / BS5306 :2009. Both standards recommend that your fire extinguishers are serviced at least annually by a competent person to ensure that they will always function in an emergency.

Hose Reel Servicing & Instalation
Apex Fire Technicians are fully certified in accordance with EN 671-3 2000 to flow test (6.1) and pressure test (6.2) all types & sizes of semi ridged hose reels. Replacements can be installed by our competent Technicians and all new hose reels are kite marked to BS EN 671.
Fire Alarm & Emergency Lighting Servicing and Installation
Apex Fire's highly trained team of Technicians can install, maintain, commission and service your fire alarm and emergency lighting to I.S 3218 : 2009 & I.S. 3217 :2008.
Dry & Wet Riser HydraulicTesting
Our Technicians carry out full maintenance to BS 9990:2006 by wet testing systems and ensuring both valves and pipe work are in adequate condition. Enclosures and ancillaries are also checked for purpose.
Risk Assessments
Under UK law, it is the employers responsibility to carry out a fire risk assessment, the aim of this assessment is to reduce and where possible remove any risk of fire. All fire risk assessments must be recorded and continually reviewed.
We advise that employers review theirs at least annually and in some cases more frequently. All Apex Fire Risk assessors are third party accredited and certified to provide customers with a quality report and document.
Fire, Health & Safety Notice Compliance
Apex Fire offers their clients site surveys to ensure that they comply with the current legislation. We supply a full range of signage from our standard range to bespoke products; we also offer a full installation service.
Hydrant Testing
Fire Hydrants are a supply of water in the event of a fire and it is important that these are maintained in accordance with BS9990:2006/BS5306. Apex Fire can provide an uninhibited flow test and static pressure test to ensure your hydrants are functioning correctly, pit inspection and frost valve checks are also provided where relevant. Static testing is also available on lay flat hoses of all lengths and sizes.
Fixed Fire Supression Systems
Apex Fire can supply and maintain fixed fire fighting systems to BS 5306 4-6 such as:
